Watershare welcomes Cámara Argentina del Agua |
|
On Wednesday, 13 August 2024, CAA signed the Watershare agreement, emphasising the value CAA puts on international collaboration to shape a water-wise future. CAA is the Argentina Chamber of Water representing the interest of companies within the water sector by positioning water as a strategic sector for sustainable economic growth in Argentina. |

Roadmap towards the integration of inland waters into the Digital Twin Ocean |
|
The IDEATION project kicked off on 1 June 2024. Consortium partners, including Watershare partners UNEXE and KWR, will have two years to provide the European Commission with the reference architecture and roadmap for the design of a Digital Twin Inland Waters to be integrated with the already existing Digital Twin Ocean. |

NATALIE NBS research discussed with global early career researchers |
|
UNEXE, a member of the NATALIE consortium, recently hosted a dynamic PhD Academy on Water and Climate Resilience at Venice International University. The event brought together 24 early career researchers from 12 countries aimed at cultivating expertise in climate resilience research. |

WIRC Director, Professor Jan Hofman, was awarded Fellowship of the IWA in honour of his sustained water research contribution of more than 30 years, during the IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition in Toronto. |

Eau de Paris participates in the construction of a national research and development platform in wastewater epidemiology |
|
OBEPINE+ project launched with financing as part of the France 2030 Plan with the aim of setting up a national research and development platform in wastewater epidemiology that is integrated into the national prevention system against future high-risk emerging infectious and pathogenic diseases. Eau de Paris is one of the 10 partner members of the OBEPINE scientific interest group (GIS), conducting research on this subject. |

KWR hosts Impact Alliance network meeting |

The Dutch Impact Alliance network gathered for an in-person meeting at KWR to discuss strategies for coordinating stakeholder contributions to research. The Impact Alliance is a network of experts from various sectors dedicated to enhancing the societal impact of scientific research. |

CAA initiates project promoting the building of economic zones with water availability and resilience |
|
Economic Zones with Water Availability and Resilience (ZEDAs) are defined as delimited geographical areas whose water sources allow the development of certain productive processes due to their volume and quality, under strict standards of sustainability. CAA and more than 30 local and internal organisations have initiated a project promoting the development of ZEDAs in Argentina. |
