KWB and partners will prepare solutions promoting water reuse in BOOST-IN |
|
Water reuse is seen as a key solution to reduce the pressure on water resources. BOOST-IN will develop and implement a strategy that promotes the types of technological changes, governance schemes, shifts in mindset and organisational structures the water sector needs to become circular. |

Horizon Europe project RECREATE at the forefront of innovative water management strategies |
|
EURECAT will lead the 4-year Horizon Europe project RECREATE to help improve the resilience of water supplies and protect the status of natural water resources by facilitating the assessment and inclusion of Alternative Water Resources (AWR) in water management planning for water-scarce regions, and to increase awareness and acceptance of and trust in the fundamental role of AWR in climate change adaptation. |

New app Water-kennis allows users to interactively raise their water awareness |
|
On 7 March, KWR launched the location-based app Water-kennis (‘Water Knowledge’). The goal of this interactive mobile app, co-developed with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) as part of the European project ULTIMATE, is to make people aware of sustainable water management and use, in an accessible and playful manner. |

Stakeholder engagement in EU-funded inter- and trans-disciplinary research and innovation projects |
|
Based on the experiences of the CIRSEAU cluster, a set of recommendations to the EC have been developed to help continue foster and strengthen stakeholder engagement in EU funded inter- and trans-disciplinary research and innovation projects. These recommendations are derived from guiding principles and actions for researchers and practitioners on effective stakeholder engagement practices collected from 35 case studies and from other sustainability ITD research projects involving partners of the CIRSEAU cluster. |

Conceptualising boundary work activities to enhance credible, salient and legitimate knowledge |
|
Conceptual paper proposing boundary work activities to enhance the impact of transdisciplinary research. The paper provides a coherent methodological framework for scientists and practitioners to improve knowledge co-creation and achieve impactful sustainability transformations. |
